Job summary

William Paterson University seeks an Assistant Director for the Office of Field Experiences and Partnerships within the College of Education to coordinate clinical experiences and partnerships with P–12 schools. You will work with faculty, clinical supervisors, and school partners to ensure high-quality field experiences for educator candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience with increasing responsibility and leadership.
• Demonstrated educational leadership and/or successful program management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of the Office of Field Experiences and Partnerships.
• Engage in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Engage in clinical and professional development school and school‑university partnership activities and programs.
• Engage in clinical supervisor and professor in residence recruitment, onboarding and support.
• Engage in communications with candidates, faculty, clinical supervisors, professors in residence to field questions and share information.
• Facilitate the alternate route programs clinical processes and procedures.
• Ensure candidate clinical preparedness through data audits.
• Lead and implement the Aspiring Educators Summer Program.
