ABOUT YOU

As an Assistant Director, Facilities Services, you are a strategic and collaborative leader who combines strong operational, financial, and business acumen with the ability to balance long-term planning and day-to-day execution. • Collaborate with executive leadership, Finance, Capital Programs, Legal, Aviation Administration, labor representatives, and operational stakeholders while providing leadership during emergency response activities, snow operations, labor relations matters, and evolving business needs to promote safety, accountability, fiscal stewardship, and operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership during critical operational events, including snow and ice operations, emergency response activities, labor relations matters, and evolving business needs while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and continuous improvement.
What you offer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience leading the operation, maintenance, and strategic planning of complex facilities and infrastructure systems.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a large, multi‑faceted facilities environment, with demonstrated expertise in maintenance operations, asset management, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, capital planning, and organizational performance improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), asset lifecycle management, predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, performance metrics, and service contract administration, with experience in airport, transportation, commercial, or similarly complex operational environments preferred.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, financial, and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, support regulatory compliance, obtain required airport certifications and security clearances, and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive environment.

Collaboration with colleagues at all levels of leadership from all different disciplines, from Aviation to Maritime and beyond.
