Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of Assistant Director experience in licensed child care facility.
• Associates degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
• Must have NC Level 1, 2 or 3 credential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operated safely and effectively in accordance with standards.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
