Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting is assisting a well-established early childhood school in Sudbury, MA to find an Assistant Director of Early Childhood Education. The role centers on curriculum, teacher development, and forging strong family relationships.

The successful candidate will guide educational quality across classrooms, supervise a sizable staff, and contribute to school-wide operations with a collaborative, student-centered approach throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Leadership experience in a large early childhood or child care program strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple age groups from infants through school age.
• Previous classroom teaching experience highly valued.
• Experience supervising and supporting teams of 20+ employees preferred for director-level candidates.
• Experience with curriculum oversight, teacher coaching, and staff development.
• Exposure to broad school operations (scheduling, programming, food service, compliance, etc.) is a plus.
• Schedule ability to either open the school at 6:30 or remain through closing until 6:15.
