Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a childcare or early education leadership role.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
• Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for child development.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced childcare environment.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations and DHS requirements preferred
• Willingness to obtain required clearances, physical and TB test, and CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in daily operations, staff management, and program oversight
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high-quality early childhood education standards
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare policies
• Build and maintain positive relationships with enrolled families and prospective clients
• Assist with staff onboarding, scheduling, and daily room placements
• Oversee classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and developmentally appropriate practices
• Stepping into classrooms to work directly with the children in order to maintain ratios when needed
• Planning, organizing, implementing, and managing family events and extra-curricular activities
• Managing inventory and assisting with meal service
