Job summary

The NIU Foundation seeks an Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations Strategy and Stewardship to cultivate partnerships with corporate and foundation stakeholders. You will coordinate stewardship activities, engage campuses, and support data-informed decision-making to strengthen the program.

You will work closely with faculty, researchers, and advancement colleagues to identify opportunities, prepare materials, and track engagement with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years in higher education corporate/foundation relations.
• Experience coordinating activities among multiple stakeholders.
• Experience utilizing databases, CRM systems, reporting tools.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in higher education corporate/foundation relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Corporate and Foundation Relations and university units to identify opportunities.
• Develop and maintain cross-university relationships for engagement.
• Consult with faculty and staff on partnership opportunities and engagement strategies.
• Design and facilitate training on engagement and fundraising practices.
• Support stewardship planning and partner communications.
