Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director to work with the School Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school and to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in our care.

In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director assumes full responsibility for the school, leads staff recruitment and retention, and helps maintain licensing compliance and a positive learning environment for families in Strongsville, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and in accordance with company and licensing standards.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
