Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help operate a childcare center safely and effectively, under the guidance of the School Director. In the Director's absence, you assume sole responsibility for the school and support the growth of children socially, physically, and intellectually.

The role includes enforcing licensing standards, fostering a nurturing environment, and recruiting and retaining qualified staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice for the communities we serve.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
