Position Purpose

The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall operation of the Center, including meeting the needs of families and supporting program operations, curriculum implementation, enrollment, staff recruitment and hiring, office administration, and staff supervision. This role is also responsible for developing and/or coordinating professional development opportunities and ensuring compliance with New Hampshire Child Care Licensing requirements.

Masters plus 6 or more years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • May develop and convene Center committees, disseminates committee agenda and notes

  • Acts on behalf of the Director in his/her absence and by request
