Job summary

Sarah Lawrence College seeks an Assistant Director of Career Services and Internship Programs to lead internship initiatives and deliver career services to students and alumni. Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in career services or related fields.
• Experience coaching/advising students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to develop and implement internship programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career advising on resume/cover letter, interviews, career exploration, internship searches.
• Develop and manage internship programs in collaboration with employers, alumni, and faculty.
• Engage employers through communications, outreach, and events (fairs, site visits, info sessions).
• Coordinate with academic departments to integrate internships into curricula and placements.
• Oversee donor-funded internship initiatives, including funding and reporting to donors.
