The University of Texas at Austin's Moody College of Communication invites applications for the role of Assistant Director, Eastin Center for Career Readiness. Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a communications or higher education-related academic program.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, career advising, coaching, and education to students across Moody College of Communication majors.
• Advise in a hybrid environment (in person and online), individually and/or in small groups on all phases of career development, including resume reviews, mock interviews, and internship and job search strategies.
• Present career planning concepts to students through workshops and seminars; deliver career content in curricular and co-curricular spaces.
• Assist with presentation preparation and lead sections of Moody Foundations course focused on career readiness.
• Plan and present industry-focused career programming and collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organizations.
• Develop engaging employer events with clear learning outcomes, partnering with marketing teams.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends to identify growth areas for the team.
• Manage daily operations of career coaching and drop-in services; coordinate training for undergraduate assistants.
• Update training materials and onboarding documentation for the Eastin Center.
