The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to create transformational experiences for all UNT Health students by providing tailored support and fostering holistic development. There are 8 functional units within the Division of Student Affairs: Center for Student Life, Career Readiness Center, Center for Academic Performance, Office of Care and Civility, Testing and Evaluation Services, International Services, Office for Disability Access, and Student Assistance Resource Center.
The Division of Student Affairs at UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Accessibility Operations, Testing & Assessment to join the Office of Disability Access. This position provides leadership for disability-related testing services, operational processes, assessment initiatives, and accessibility systems. The Assistant Director serves as the operational lead for the Office of Disability Access Testing Center and is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of testing accommodations, exam security practices, operational workflows, assessment activities, and accessibility-related systems in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and institutional policies. The Assistant Director supervises the Testing Associate and part-time testing staff and provides oversight of disability-related testing operations, assessment and reporting efforts, accessibility systems, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position maintains a caseload of students receiving disability accommodations and assists with departmental planning, compliance efforts, and strategic initiatives. This position acts on behalf of the Director when designated.
Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional early mornings, evenings or weekends as required for divisional events.
