Learning Care Group in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee safe, effective school operations with the School Director and to assume sole responsibility in the Director’s absence.

The role emphasizes fostering the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, maintaining safety and quality, and promoting profitability while upholding the company’s values. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and effectively with the School Director and take sole responsibility in the Director’s absence.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, retain, and develop quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability and maintain a positive image for Learning Care Group.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
