Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director to help run the school with the School Director and to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children. In the Director’s absence, you will take sole responsibility for the school and ensure operations meet safety and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Bachelor's degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $22.78 starting hourly rate based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
