Job summary

Bright Minds Academy is seeking a Childcare Assistant Director to help manage our Kansas childcare center. You will help ensure a safe, nurturing environment, oversee staff, and support families while upholding licensing and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in childcare, holds a CDA or is willing to pursue it, and demonstrates leadership, clear communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare or early childhood education.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and childcare best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willing to pursue CDA within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the childcare center.

Summary:The Childcare Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the overall management and operation of the childcare center. This includes ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, as well as managing staff and regulatory compliance.
