Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to lead daily operations and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children and families. You will work with the School Director to maintain standards and promote growth in all developmental areas.

In this role you will recruit and retain quality staff, foster a positive, caring workplace, and help achieve profitability while complying with licensing and center requirements at our Norcross location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the Georgia 40 hour course completed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
