Learning Care Group in New York is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure a safe, engaging learning environment and to support the School Director. In the Director's absence, you will lead the school and drive growth for the children in our care.

You will lead a caring team, maintain compliance with state licensing, and promote development across social, physical, and intellectual domains. We offer benefits, tuition assistance, and opportunities for professional growth.

Competenze

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Leadership experience and at least 1 year in licensed childcare.
• High School diploma or equivalent; NYS Teacher Certificate.
• CDA or AS in Early Education with plan to complete bachelor.
• New York State Teacher Certificate required.

Mansioni

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff; uphold licensing standards.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• CDA or Associates Degree in Early Education or related field with a plan of study to complete bachelor degree required.
• New York State Teacher Certificate required.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $26.47 starting hourly rate based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
