Learning Care in Akron, OH seeks an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. When the Director is absent, this role holds sole responsibility for the school and supports the growth of children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assume sole responsibility for the school in the Director’s absence.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:
