Quality Life Services - New Castle is seeking an Assistant Dietary Director to join our team in New Castle, PA. This role supports the Dietary Director by managing and maintaining the culinary department, ensuring policy adherence and regulatory compliance, and helping control expenses within budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a food service setting.
• At least 2 years of food service experience.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for some weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dietary Director in organizing and implementing policies and procedures of the Culinary Department.
• Assist Dietary Director in ensuring Culinary Services compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Assist Dietary Director in operating within a budget by monitoring and controlling expenses.
• Produce department work schedules as assigned by the Dietary Director.
• Oversee coverage of staffing shortages.
• Assist Dietary Director in completing food orders and supplies and receiving deliveries.
• Assist Dietary Director in completing physical inventories when placing orders.
