Job summary

Disney Experiences in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Assistant Designer for Home products (decor, tabletop, hydration). You will support the Home teams in concept, design, sketch, prototype, and ensure consumer-centric, trend-right product lines across licensing, flex and wholesale channels.

You will report to the Sr, Manager‑Product Design and work full-time on-site, coordinating samples, PLM inputs, and market research while adapting to evolving design priorities and timelines.

Qualifications

• Entry level designer experience in home product design.
• Knowledge of hardlines/softlines materials and manufacturing.
• Strong verbal and written communication and receptivity to feedback.
• Solid product design skills including 3D design, sketching and art manipulation.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in 3D design, ZBrush is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with calendar adherence and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home product design team with concept, design, sketch and prototype.
• Assist design presentations: room setups, boards and line decks.
• Collaborate with partners to design and approve products.
• Coordinate product submissions for creative reviews and approvals.
• Own organizing and maintaining product and market samples.
• Own product design inputs for packaging submissions.
• Assist PLM system and design tools; keep items up to date.
• Monitor competitors, product innovation and market trends.
• Multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects within timelines.
