Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Associate Designer to support new product lines across seasonal cycles. You will assist design and development meetings, communicate with agents, merchants, sourcing, and color teams, and help ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Must provide a portfolio or website of current and past experience.
• Minimum 2 years retail product design experience.
• Degree in Design or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing (category specific product) with materials and pricing in mind.
• Aspirational taste level with passion for interiors and trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist category Designers to prepare for weekly Product Development meetings and Work Sessions.
• Understand business results and support changes from Monday Business Review meetings.
• Support seasonal product presentations and develop specs and concept boards through to product approval.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to review development status and timelines.
