Job summary

Centric Brands in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Designer to support the seasonal design process from concept to delivery. You will work with designers, production, and external partners to ensure timely execution and cost targets.

The role requires 1–3 years in apparel design, a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, and proficiency with Illustrator, PLM and CAD. You’ll provide organized support, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design required.
• 1–3 years related experience in apparel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products and Mac computers; CAD knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Designer in seasonal design development from concept to delivery.
• Track design schedule to ensure timely product development.
• Prepare Illustrator sketches; assist in line sheets and specifications.
• Maintain PLM logs and design archives; update files as needed.
• Coordinate fabric/trim research and approvals.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure specs and timing.
• Support teamwork and positive collaboration across departments.
