Job summary

Lane Bryant’s LIVI Activewear Design Team is seeking a detail-oriented designer to assist from concept through final product. You will collaborate with Designers, cross-functional teams, agents, and vendors to create fresh, brand-right assortments that meet customer needs and margin goals.

You will gain hands-on experience in trend research, product development, presentations, sample organization, and day-to-day design execution.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in design or product development for a fashion retailer.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Google Slides experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Designer/Designer in building seasonal product collections.
• Research trend, silhouette, fabric, and color ideas that feel fresh and brand-right.
• Prepare visual tools and presentation materials (sketches, image tears, boards, color standards).
• Coordinate with agents and vendors to support daily design and development priorities.
• Attend fittings and update PLM, sketches, and line sheets as needed.
