Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist, suggest alternatives, and thank shoppers with a positive attitude.
• Maintain fresh merchandise using proper handling techniques and minimize losses.
• Assist Deli Manager with merchandising, ad execution, scheduling, and associate engagement.
• Coordinate inventory, weekly sales, orders, and supplies to ensure fresh stock.
• Monitor labor costs, train staff, and recognize performance.
• Audit operations for receiving, pricing, stock levels, sanitation, and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, weights & measures, and labeling laws.
• Maintain smooth workflow within the department and seek continuous improvement.
• Perform staff duties as needed by management.
