Kj’s Market is hiring for a deli/bakery role where you will deliver friendly guest service and support daily operations. You will help manage inventory, assist with prep, receiving and stocking while upholding quality standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, training others, and maintaining a safe, clean department in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with good guest service.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Knowledge of deli operations and merchandise standards.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and direction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Operate department per merchandising and operations guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance and training to hosts for performance.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform PA announcements and other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
