Job summary

Floco Foods is seeking a deli/bakery department host to deliver friendly guest service and support daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

You will supervise hosts, help train staff, and ensure product quality, inventory, and compliance with company standards while contributing to sales goals and labor efficiency.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser.
