Kj’s Market in Augusta, GA is hiring for a Deli/Bakery Host Supervisor to deliver polite, friendly service and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced setting. You’ll help achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and ensure product quality while leading and training deli hosts.

The role emphasizes supervision, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to company standards for sanitation, safety, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guests service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
