Job summary

New York University’s Stern School of Business offers an Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs and Student Services for Executive Programs. You will direct academic affairs and student services, leading a team delivering services for EMBA NY, EMBA DC, TRIUM Global EMBA, MS in Business Analytics and Ai, and MS in Global Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Master’s degree preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience managing work with a global scope and overseeing academic affairs, student services, or related professional services.
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required along with leadership ability, judgment, and strategic thinking.
• Ability to lead a team in executing complex programs in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with attention to detail and project management.
• Knowledge of graduate-level academic affairs and student services; experience with executives is preferred.
• Occasional evenings and weekends onsite to support programming.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of academic affairs and student services for Executive Programs.
• Lead and develop a team delivering services and support for EMBA NY, EMBA DC, TRIUM Global EMBA, MS programs.
• Partner with Vice Dean, Academic Directors, faculty and program managers to plan and deliver programs.
• Cultivate relationships with EMBA and MS students and various student services teams.
• Lead student-facing academic and co-curricular initiatives and manage complex student concerns.
• Serve as the lead with partner institutions on student services and program design, delivery and review.
• Develop and enhance strategic vision of future program offerings and advise on strategic matters.
