Temple University’s Institutional Advancement Department seeks an Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations for the College of Education and Human Development. The role focuses on managing fundraising within the college, cultivating donor relationships for six- and seven-figure gifts, and leading the Board of Visitors with strategic engagement.

This is a hybrid on-campus/remote position supporting a $1.5B campaign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of related fundraising experience.
• Higher education fundraising and capital campaigns experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse constituents.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage fundraising within the College of Education and Human Development.
• Cultivate and manage donor relationships, including major gifts.
• Oversee the College’s Board of Visitors (BOV) and coordinate meetings.
• Collaborate with Institutional Advancement central operations to align priorities and funding.
