Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program.
• Eligibility for dental licensure in California.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in clinical operations, dental practice management, healthcare administration, academic dentistry, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development, review, and implementation across all years of the DMD program.
• Lead curriculum review incorporating faculty, student, and admin input; update outcomes and curriculum map.
• Collaborate on clinical and educational assessment systems and data-driven improvements.
• Ensure alignment with CODA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support faculty in instructional design, assessment strategies, and pedagogy.
• Coordinate with leadership on accreditation preparation, self-studies, and site visits.
• Maintain learning resources and instructional technology; integrate innovative teaching strategies.
