This position supports the Dance Coordinator in the management and growth of a dynamic dance program offering more than 60 weekly classes. About This Role

The ideal candidate will support the Dance Coordinator with the management of the SBDCRC School of Dance. The dance program includes 60+ weekly classes, two recitals, two picture days, festival performances, National Honor Society for Dance Arts Junior and Secondary chapters, summer camps and summer intensives. This role celebrates skills in creativity, organization, time management, leadership and an understanding of dance education.

Minimum Requirements

8th grade education and 0-12 months of related experience.

Preferences

• 5 or more years of dance teaching experience
• 2 or more years of administrative experience
• 10 or more years of formal dance training
• Lead instructor experience
• Dance teaching certification
• Degree in Dance or related field

Daytime with some evening and weekend hours.

Starting Hourly Range

$22.53 - $26.51
