Job summary

Golden State in Santa Cruz, CA, is seeking an energetic, part-time Public and Community Relations support to assist with events and administrative work onsite at the Santa Cruz Warriors facility. The role reports to the Director of Public and Community Relations and offers hands-on exposure to community outreach and partnership activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of SCW community and sponsored events.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as tracking events, assisting with donations, etc.
• Assist with events at Kaiser Permanente Arena, such as season ticket member and partner events, concerts, shows, etc.
• Assist CR/PR Coordinator with game day prep; credential creation, ticket distribution, etc.
• Assist PR and CR team on game days as needed
• Other duties as assigned

About the Position

The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking for an energetic and results oriented individual to work in a multi-faceted capacity in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will support the Santa Cruz Warriors Public and Community Relations team by assisting with events and administrative work. This position reports to the Director, Public and Community Relations.

This is a part-time position located onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of SCW community and sponsored events (i.e., event creation, connecting with community groups, event set up/tear down, capturing social content, etc.)
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as tracking events, assisting with donations, etc.
• Assist with events at Kaiser Permanente Arena, such as season ticket member and partner events, concerts, shows, etc.
• Assist CR/PR Coordinator with game day prep; credential creation, ticket distribution, etc.
• Assist PR and CR team on game days as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

• $16.90 Per Hour
