Tulsa County is seeking a Civil Engineering Supervisor to assist in administering the Highway Division, oversee surveying and construction oversight, and participate in plan reviews and cost estimation. This role requires a PE license in Oklahoma and a strong supervisory background.

The position demands broad knowledge of civil engineering practices, ability to manage multiple projects, and readiness to coordinate with property owners and public officials.

Qualifications

• Education in civil or agricultural engineering or related field with five years of paid civil engineering experience, including two years in supervision.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents; manage policy execution and departmental activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the county engineer in administration of the division.
• Supervise personnel engaged in surveying, inspecting, and constructing highways, bridges, and drainage projects.
• Review plans, prepare preliminary and final cost estimates.
• Visit and inspect projects to observe progress and quality of work.
• Draft detailed construction drawings and related maps; supervise the drafting unit.
