Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners, headquartered in the Washington, DC metro area, is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to support the VP of Accounting in financial stewardship across AP, Payroll, Treasury, and Corporate Reporting.

You will help build a high-performing accounting team, strengthen controls, and ensure GAAP compliance while coordinating with Asset Management, HR, and Tax in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and GAAP knowledge are required.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for corporate entity and consolidated statements with GAAP compliance.
• Assist with general ledger, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting to support leadership and lenders.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, payroll, and treasury processes with strong internal controls.
