Job summary

The Intersect Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller to lead corporate accounting operations and drive accurate, timely financial reporting. This hands-on leadership role partners with the Controller/Director to strengthen controls and optimize processes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of leadership in accounting, with property management experience and a strong close/forecasting background, including NextGen and Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Property management accounting background.
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with NextGen and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Review data, reconciliations, and controls for accuracy.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Oversee accounting system administration.
