Job summary

Dynalectric Company is seeking a CAD/BIM technician to create installation drawings using Revit and AutoCAD MEP, and to layout electrical systems in 3D for BIM coordination. You will report progress on deliverables, quality, and productivity while traveling to project sites as required.

Responsibilities include translating contract drawings into shop drawings, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring safety policies are followed on site.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD MEP to create installation drawings.
• Ability to translate contract drawings into installation layouts in BIM.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Compensation Range: $35-$40 per hour

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Some duties in this position are performed under periodically disagreeable working conditions of a jobsite including: working outside, at times in inclement weather; and exposure to water, dust, dirt, grease, paint fumes, chemicals, and equipment noise and vibration. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
