Job summary

Encore Electric, Inc. is seeking a VDC Coordinator to bridge design and field operations. You will model the electrical scope in 3D, generate install and as-built drawings, and maintain project indexing and archives under the VDC Lead Coordinator.

Candidates must have 3 years in BIM/VDC, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Forma, with strong communication and organizational skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and an A.A.S. in CAD/Drafting or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Forma.

Compensation for this role: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour.

OVERVIEW:

The VDC Coordinator role serves as the bridge between design teams, construction operations, and technology platforms, ensuring that digital models are effectively translated into successful field execution. This position uses the software listed below and assists the VDC Lead Coordinator in the electrical design and layout of construction projects under the supervision of field crew members.

Specific Responsibilities

Support the VDC needs of the Preconstruction, Marketing, Prefabrication, and Field construction teams, including but not limited to:

• Model the entire Electrical scope in 3D
• Create Install Drawings

• Link and Maintain Index Sheets
• Maintain file archives
• Stay current with required VDC training
• Quality assurance of work product

REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience in BIM/VDC Coordination. High School Diploma or equivalent, along with an A.A.S. Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or equivalent, is required.
