Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a kitchen team member to deliver high-quality guest service, follow recipes precisely, and maintain food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and reliable daily workflows in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities include portioning meals, managing temperatures, set-up/teardown, receiving deliveries, and maintaining clean, efficient work areas while following FIFO and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to do simple arithmetic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual and reliable.
• Ability to follow safe food handling requirements and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow production sheets and meet daily deadlines.
• Store or discard excess food per safe handling procedures.

• Receive and unpack food deliveries.
• Ensure food and supplies stored per standards.
• Communicate politely and professionally.
• Understand and utilize FIFO.
• Perform other related duties as requested by leadership.
