Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking kitchen support staff to ensure high-quality guest service and precise execution of recipes.

You will prepare meals with correct portions, maintain food temperatures, and present attractive dishes while upholding sanitation and safety standards. The role requires reliable, punctual team members who can manage daily workload, assist with deliveries, and help maintain FIFO and production sheets.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.
• Execute recipes to the letter.
• Prepare meals with correct portions, temperatures, and appealing presentation.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follows and completes production sheets.
• Meet deadlines in completing daily workload.
• Store or discard excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Set up and tear down workstation.
• Receive and unpack food deliveries.
• Ensure food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Communicate politely and professionally.
• Understand and utilize FIFO.
• Perform other related duties as requested by leadership.
