Job summary

PrincePerelson & Associates is seeking an Assistant Controller to join a private family office supporting three principals of a private equity firm in North Salt Lake, UT. Reporting to the Head of the Family Office, you will manage accounting operations, financial reporting, banking, and investment administration.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong attention to detail, judgment, and the ability to work discreetly

Qualifications

• 4–5 years minimum of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Record and review general ledger activity with thorough documentation.
• Perform reconciliations of checking, investment, and credit card accounts.
• Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable, including checks, ACH, and wires.
• Open and administer banking and investment accounts.
• Review contracts and sensitive financial documents with discretion.
