Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

In URGENT need of a Assistant Controller ready to take the next step in their career. This will be joining our client's Private Credit arm of the business. If you enjoy fast-paced environments and you're hungry to move up quicker, this is a high-visibility role combining hands-on fund reporting, team oversight, and cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting for closed-end credit funds.
• Manage month-end close and review deliverables from fund administrators
• Direct a team of 1–2 associates with an accelerated promotion pathway (1-2yrs)
• Oversee cash/position reporting and review investor communications, capital calls, and distributions.
• Own audit processes, support fund tax compliance, and review financial statements
• Handle complex structures, distressed assets, and valuation workstreams
• Partner with internal teams to drive accurate reporting and process improvements

Qualifications:

• 6–10 years in a fund accounting and/or audit position
• 3+ years of direct private credit exposure
• Strong attention to detail, resourceful and have a go-getter mindset
• Proven leadership ability with a self-starter mindset and process-driven focus
