Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing or plant accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel/Office skills.
• Experience with SAP and data reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities for the Newton plant.
• Prepare journal entries, management reports and reconciliations.
• Support monthly forecast and annual budget processes.
• Coordinate monthly cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to drive cost reductions.
• Assist with audits and maintain US GAAP compliance and SOX controls.
