Job summary

Leader Tech, a HEICO Company, is seeking an Assistant Controller for our Tampa, FL facility to own all accounting, HR and IT functions in a small-company setting. You will partner with executive management to develop financial strategies, support cost analysis, and drive process automation, including AI initiatives. This role reports to the CFO with dotted line to HEICO Group finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or CMA designation in good standing is required.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience including strong cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Participate with executive management in establishing financial strategies and support data and analysis for growth.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal teams and HEICO.
• Prepare weekly forecast reports and the annual budgets, identifying trends and risks.
• Analyze product and job costs; identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support sales with credit evaluations and appropriate credit limits per policy.
• Lead, mentor and develop Accounting, HR and IT teams; ensure SOX compliance.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and obsolescence reviews.
