Job summary

Leader Tech, a HEICO Company, seeks a hands-on Assistant Controller in our Tampa, FL facility to own all aspects of accounting, HR and IT operations in a small-company setting. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can learn quickly and drive improvements.

You will report to the CFO with a dotted line to HEICO Electronic Technologies Group's VP of Accounting & Finance, lead a team, ensure SOX compliance, manage cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis while leveraging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or CMA designation in good standing required.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience with strong cost accounting.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with SYSPRO manufacturing software a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to mentor teams.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis.
• Analyze product/job costs and identify improvements.
• Support credit evaluation and revenue recognition policy.
• Oversee inventory valuation and cycle counts.
• Assist with SOX compliance and audits.
• Lead Accounting, HR, and IT teams.
