Job summary

Precinmac is seeking an Assistant Controller in Massachusetts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies across the organization. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will manage consolidation and monitor cash flow projections while supporting the controller as needed.

You will review monthly results, analyze balance sheets, and mentor the accounting team in a hands-on culture that values teamwork, urgency, and integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting; CMA, CPA and/or MBA required.
• Big 4 experience and/or internal audit preferred (3+ years).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Syteline ERP proficiency.
• Travel to other sites up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own the Compliance Program - develop, implement and manage compliance procedures supporting corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform consolidation of the monthly Precinmac financial results.
• Assist the Controller with providing timely and accurate consolidated information for internal and corporate reporting requirements.
• Review monthly results, analyze balance sheets, investigate anomalies and monitor complex transactions.
• Maintain and improve monthly business reporting with key metrics requiring business action.
• Review monthly financials for accuracy and timeliness by legal entities.
• Support external audits and renewals related to insurance programs.
