Job summary

Sprint Transport, LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller to support month-end close, financial analyses, and implementation of accounting systems. The role requires coordinating with the Controller and CFO to deliver timely, accurate financial statements.

You will manage a 5-7 person accounting team, handle intercompany reconciliations, tax filings, and reports within Sage Intacct, while driving process improvements and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of accounting in a multi-entity corporation with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct or similar) and related tools (TMW, TMT, Depot) preferred.
• Strong process and procedure implementation experience.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Review bank reconciliations and cash reports across entities.
• Oversee intercompany accounts, fixed assets, and journal entries.
• Coordinate audits and 1099 management.
• Develop reports in Intacct with Controller/CFO.
• Lead a accounting team of 5-7 members.
