Partnership Employment is seeking an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller in Cleveland to own the accounting function end to end, report to the CFO, and lead a team of accountants and billers. The role includes managing month-end close, US GAAP reporting, and supporting the Sage 50 to Sage Intacct migration, with emphasis on process improvements and internal controls.

Candidates should have 7+ years in accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, and preferably a CPA; healthcare experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years in public and/or private accounting.
• Healthcare services industry experience required; NEMT/provider billing/payor experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with Sage 50, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks Online.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly close and financial statements under US GAAP.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll, treasury, and fixed assets.
• Collaborate with operations on revenue recognition and billing data.
• Support migration from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Strengthen internal controls and support acquisitions.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
