Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required or CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reconciliations are correct and entries accurate.
• Analyze revenue and expenses vs. budget and make corrections as needed.
• Review grants and contract billings monthly.
• Analyze grant and contract costs in GL and true them up.
• Oversee payroll GL entries and staff salary allocations.
• Assist CFO with annual budget prep and variance analysis.
• Prepare month-end management reports and cost rates for fringe benefits.
