Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, grants, and contract reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with accounting team to ensure reconciliations are correct and entries are accurate.
• Analyze revenue and expense actual vs budget variances and recommend corrections.
• Review grants and contract billings monthly prepared by others.
• Analyze and true up grant and contract expenses in the general ledger.
• Manage staff salary allocations and review payroll GL entries.
• Participate in annual budget preparation with Directors and CFO.
• Prepare month-end management reports.
• Prepare cost rates for fringe benefits and overhead.
• Prepare JSSA homecare cost analysis.
• Assist with year-end close and audit preparation.
• Provide training on finance policies.
• Supervise grants finance management staff.
