• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6–10 years of progressive accounting in a government contracting environment.
• Hands-on payroll accounting and month-end close experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DFARS compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll accounting and labor distribution.
• Manage month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/CAS/DFARS and prepare submissions.
• Support DCMA/DCAA audits and implement process improvements.
• Mentor payroll staff and coordinate with HR and Contracts.
